Sunset Yacht Excursions — Your Private Dinner at Sea

A day charter is a boat. An evening charter is a restaurant that happens to float.

Book four hours from late afternoon. Departure at four, reef and swim until six, anchor in a lee bay by half past, dinner served as the sun goes down. Any longer and the day becomes an event; any shorter and you are watching the clock.

Ask three questions before confirming: how many crew, who is cooking, and where does the boat anchor for dinner? A captain and a mate on a sixty-foot catamaran is the right ratio for eight guests. Provisioning should come from a restaurant ashore, not a supermarket. And the anchorage matters more than the vessel — a sheltered bay turns a pleasant sail into a still, silent dining room.

Bring one layer more than you think you need. It is always cooler at sea after dark.
