Regent vs Seabourn vs Explora — Which Luxury Cruise is Your Maison?
House of LeVotre · 7 min read · Free

All three are all-inclusive. All three will fly you business class if you ask correctly. The difference is temperament.
Regent Seven Seas is the most generous on paper: airfare, excursions, and speciality dining are folded into the fare, and the suites are the largest at sea. It suits travellers who want the arithmetic done before they board and the itinerary handed to them complete.
Seabourn is smaller, quieter, and more social in the way a good members' club is social. Two hundred couples, open seating, caviar on the beach. If you dislike queues and lanyards more than you like a private balcony, this is your house.
Explora Journeys is the newcomer and the most design-led — Milanese in sensibility, with ocean penthouses, four pools, and a wine list that argues with itself pleasantly. It attracts a younger table.
Our rule of thumb: Regent for the first luxury voyage, Seabourn for the traveller who already knows what they like, Explora for the one who cares how the room looks in photographs.
